Seton Hall Hosts NAFSA Downstate NY/NJ State Meeting, Reinforcing Commitment to Global Education and Internationalization

 In July, Seton Hall University hosted the NAFSA: Association of International Educators
                                    Downstate NY/NJ State Meeting, bringing together international educators from across
                                    the local region to discuss pressing issues in global education and provide training
                                    for international student services. "NAFSA, is the world’s largest and most diverse
                                    nonprofit associations dedicated to international education and exchange," plays a
                                    pivotal role in shaping the landscape of global learning. Seton Hall’s involvement
                                    in this event underscores its commitment to fostering global engagement and leadership.
In July, Seton Hall University hosted the NAFSA: Association of International Educators
                                    Downstate NY/NJ State Meeting, bringing together international educators from across

                                    international students and expanding study abroad opportunities. As Seton Hall continues
                                    to prioritize internationalization, hosting the NAFSA state meeting aligns seamlessly
                                    with the university’s strategic goals, which are central to its vision for the future. Assistant Provost for International Programs, Mary Kate Naatus, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Hosting the NAFSA Downstate NY/NJ
                                    State Meeting at Seton Hall is an honor and a testament to our commitment to fostering
                                    global connections. As we continue to build our international partnerships and enhance
                                    our support for international students, gatherings like this, that allow us to exchange
                                    ideas and explore innovative approaches that will benefit both our students and the
                                    broader global community, are invaluable.”
