Dedicated to fostering faith and education across diverse communities, Fr. Curtis combines his background in philosophy, theology, and the arts with a commitment to pastoral care and teaching. A native of Nicaragua, he brings both international experience and a deep engagement in the multicultural life of the Church to his ministry and academic roles.

Fr. Curtis began his university studies at Universidad Católica Redemptoris Mater in Managua, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with Education Studies and a Master of Arts in Humanities. He also trained in vocal performance at the Conservatory of Music at UPOLI, where he received a Diploma in Opera Studies. Before entering the seminary, he served as an academic secretary at a Catholic high school in Managua and performed with the Teatro Nacional Ruben Dario opera company.

Fr. Curtis pursued his theological studies in the United States, earning a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry and a Master of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Church History at Immaculate Conception Seminary, Seton Hall University. He completed his diaconate service at his home parish, Our Lady of Mt. Virgin in Garfield, NJ, and was ordained to the priesthood of Jesus Christ in May 2016.
