Parking and Transportation

Seton Hall University provides access to accessible parking spots if qualified through Office of Parking Services. Accessible parking spaces are limited to faculty, staff, students, and guests with state-issued handicapped parking privileges. The individual who received the handicapped parking permit must accompany the vehicle to qualify for use of an accessible parking space. The state-issued handicapped license plates or hangtag must be displayed.

For further information on a Persons with a Disability Placard through the State of New Jersey, visit their website here.

Medical Exception Parking

If you are not a senior resident and require parking due to medical reasons, please complete the Accommodation Request and Documentation Form, which you can find here. The first part of this form will be completed by the student, and the second part of the form is completed by the student’s doctor or provider. You also must fully register with DSS for the office to review your parking request; you can find full registration information here.

Please note that we determine parking decisions based on distance and frequency of appointments. If a student is approved for Medical Exception Parking through DSS, they must work directly with Parking Services to purchase their permit.

Transportation

Seton Hall University provides transportation for members of the University Community via the Seton Hall Shuttle and SHU Ride. DSS does not provide transportation for students beyond the Seton Hall Shuttle and SHU Ride routes.

For more information about parking or transportation services, please visit the Office of Parking Services website.

If you need assistance getting to and from campus and have a disability, Access Link is a service provided through the State of New Jersey that can assist. For further information, check their website here.
