First issued in November 2009, Faculty & Administration News (FAN) is a quarterly publication of Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. The aim of this newsletter is to share with readers the many accomplishments of ICSST's faculty and administrators.

In This Issue:

  • Center for Diaconal Formation achieves top rank for enrollment among permanent diaconate formation programs nationwide.
  • ICSST welcomes seven team members who bring diverse gifts to their ministries as faculty and administrative staff members; expresses profound gratitude to Dianne M. Traflet, J.D. ’88, S.T.D., for her visionary leadership in team building.
  • Reverend Joseph R. Laracy, S.T.D., Chair of the Department of Systematic Theology, promoted to rank of Associate Professor.
  • Justin M. Anderson, Ph.D., earns faculty merit award for exceptional teaching, scholarship, and service.
  • Patrick R. Manning, Ph.D., and Reverend Joseph R. Laracy, S.T.D., serve on teams of Seton Hall University faculty awarded funding in Fall 2024 as part of the Academies Initiative created to encourage cross-departmental and cross-college collaborations that lead to innovative programs, unique student experiences, and new ideas for research.
  • Ellen R. Scully, Ph.D., as part of Seton Hall University’s Mission Partners Program, awarded funding for collaboration with University CORE colleague to design and run a CORE III course, Contemplative Service, including experiential and service learning.
  • Reverend Monsignor C. Anthony Ziccardi, S.S.L., S.T.D., publishes book translation from French into English: A Little Guide to Spiritual Accompaniment: For Whom? For What?
  • More than a dozen pastoral and professional presentations.
  • Gregory Y. Glazov, D.Phil. (Oxon.), teaches Spotlight on the Scriptures catechetical formation course for catechists and religion teachers of the Archdiocese of Newark.
  • Jamie Boulding, Ph.D., ICSST’s newest full-time faculty member, moderates a panel discussion for a conference on Theological Perspectives on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, at Princeton University.
